This is by far my favorite dairy free homemade milk to use in my coffee, hot chocolate or latte. It is creamy and delicious! Warning; Don’t boil the milk as it will turn slimy!
Ingredients:
2 cups of rolled oats
4 cups of Water
pinch of sea salt
Maple syrup to sweeten (optional); amount is based on desired sweetness
Directions:
Blend water and oats in a blender for about a minute or less, do not over blend.
Use a nut milk bag or cheese cloth to filter the milk, pour it in a sealed tight container and refrigerate. Milk can last for up to 5 days
Note: Milk will separate, so shake well before use
Enjoy!

I need to try this. Is it good?
Kurt and I love it in our coffee. We tried it in a homemade hot chocolate and it was good 🙂 we prefer it over almond milk. It is creamier.
Creamier is what I'm looking for 😄
oooo I must try it with hot chocolate!
Just made this last weekend, came out pretty good! A nice change from the usual nut milks…
